ye olde birthday

So today is my birthday. And I actually have plans! I've got a gift certificate to the fabulous Ella's Deli, city landmark (that happens to be literally on the same street I live on, on the other end of my block, and I've only been there once!). So I'm going to go feast on strange kosher deli concoctions. Amidst all the flying, spinning, whirling, circus-themed toys that literally hang from the ceiling. The one time I went in there, I nearly got my head taken off by a Harry Potter on a broomstick that flies over the ice-cream counter. Only at Ella's. I love that place. :)

And the 1940's doll dress is almost finished, and I think it's going to be cute after all. There are few better birthday gifts than a sewing project that miraculously goes well!

I had an awesome time. I ordered the most expensive thing on the menu, and there was enough food that I got two more meals out of the leftovers! And it was all really good! And after I stuffed myself I still went out for ice cream after. Teehee. Definitely a perfect birthday. XD
