Yes, I did watch some of the special features on the DVD where everyone talked about the making of the serial, and Elisabeth Sladen said her departure was just as she wanted it, and everyone seemed to like how understated their goodbye was, so it's probably just me. For some reason, Four & Sarah Jane are the one TARDIS team in all of Classic Who that never really worked for me. (Heresy, I know! I tried to like them together because everyone else does, but as soon as Harry left, I couldn't keep interested. That probably makes me a Bad FanTM, but I really did try!)
