Had a pretty good weekend. The weather was perect on my birthday, which it never is, so I'm kind of amazed by that. A good deal of my time this weekend was spent absorbed in the world of figure skating; the beginning of the season is always so exciting! Except for having to learn a whole new scoring system; that'll take a good deal of fun out of watching until I finally figure it out, but I think it's probably a better one, ESPECIALLY for ice dance. I don't however see the point in STILL keeping the judging secret. That's just pointless. But whatever.

I want to cover figure skating on television. Almost more than becoming a novelist. ALMOST.

But at the rate I'm going I'll have more chance of being the Bob Costas of figure skating than a novelist. The 'French story' is evil. Two hours in front of the computer produced a measley two paragraphs last night. But I was upset over missing "The Hound of the Baskervilles" on Masterpiece Theatre, which I've been wanting to see like crazy. But my mother can't stand anything on Masterpiece Theatre, so I didn't get watch it. GRR! Well, just for that, we're watching the Mrs. Bradley Mystery re-run tonight, whether she likes it or not! S'there!

I know I should go write more now, but I feel so uninspired lately. And I don't particularly feel like doing anything now, after having so much excitement on the weekend. Maybe I'll just get more sleep. :)
