Dec. 27th, 2003 04:45 pmI love Christmas. It actually wasn't bad this year, though the day before Christmas is always a little bit better, because you have the anticipation, which is where the magic comes from.
Got to watch all the lovely Christmas things; "A Christmas Carol" (the 1984 version is the best), various versions of "The Nutcracker" (my obsession with all things Nutcracker is legendary), all the little Rankin/Bass clay animation Christmas movies, lots of holiday figure skating specials, and the Christmas episode of Kim Possible.
And speaking of Kim Possible, my absolute favorite present this year had to be a plush Talking and Giggling Rufus. It is the CUTEST thing I have EVER seen.
All my other presents were mostly candy, or dolls for my collection. (Hurrah for Norse Valkerie Barbie!)
(And another hurrah for a very nifty Christmas card from
papercranes!)
So much more stuff to say, but not enough time! Ack! Hopefully I'll return soon with more residule Christmas cheer!
