Wanderlust, Europhilia, and German sitcoms

Watched "Daniel Deronda" on Masterpiece Theatre last night. Am accordingly in history geek heaven. I now want to go to Malta, because they shot "Daniel Deronda" and "The Count of Monte Cristo" there, and it looks beautiful. I really have been watching an ungodly amount of travel shows lately. I want to go to Europe someday. Really badly. All of Europe. And India. And Morocco, for some reason. I blame far too much "Globe Trekker".

I'm seriously close to finishing 'the French story', but I've been procrastinating so badly. I can't belive the ways I've been finding to avoid writing it. The other night, I was watching GERMAN SITCOMS at 1:00 am! The entire thing was in German, which I don't speak a word of, but I watched four back-to-back episodes of it, and actually started to care about the characters and what happened to them. Seriously. Next thing you know I'll be listening to French rap instead of writing. 'Tis truly frightening how creative I can be in my procrastination.

French rap is really very good. I think it's because I have no clue what they're saying, except the occasional, "I think he said something about death".
