Nov. 19th, 2002 04:57 pmI have a million things I should be doing besides journaling, but I feel like a good meaningless rant right now.
I am so jealous of everybody who's been to see CoS. But it's a house rule that nobody goes to movies until they're at the second-run theater. ARG! I don't care about keeping unnecessary household spending down! This is Harry Potter we're talking about! It IS necessary! ARG!
On the subject of Harry, I'm rather vexed by a certain point. While watching the E! channel a while back, the little entertainment news ticker they've got said that J.K. Rowling promises romance for Harry in the next books. And with the impending arrival of the next book, the queston has weighed more and more heavily on my mind of who he will find romance with. I can't think of any existing character that he could be paired up with. Ginny is too young, and that would be boring as heck. Cho Chang isn't really enough of a 'central' character for consideration, and all the other girls his age are even less 'central'. Except for Hermione. Which worries me like heck, because I'm an unabashed Ron/Hermione shipper. And in book four all signs DO point to Ron and Hermione getting together. But who on earth else could Harry get paired with? I don't think it would be very convincing just to invent a new character for him, and I doubt that will happen. So the question remains. Personally, I don't particularly care to see Harry with anybody, since it will only make me jealous. *evil grin*
Yes, I am a pathetic, geeky fangirl. But I'm proud of it. If I could admit to being a Trekkie, being labeled a Potterite could not trouble me.
Am being urged to get off. Arg. But I must. More ramblings later.
