movie-related babbling
May. 11th, 2004 06:02 pmI have absolutely nothing useful to write about at the moment, so I may as well babble about things that aren't useful. ;-D
First off, I finally saw "The Importance of Being Earnest", and nearly died from the niftyness. Colin Firth and Rupert Everett were beyond adorable. I was positively ROTFL.
Second, I watched "Ever After" again this weekend, and got some good inspiration for my costume for the Renaissance Faire this September. I also realized how much I truly love that movie, and that I now feel the urge to write novels with strong, smart heroines set in the Renaissance and based on fairy tales.
Which would be a lot of fun, actually, but I have yet to finish writing 'the French story'. I swear that accursed thing will be the death of me. Unless I were to actually sit myself down and...WORK ON IT instead of watching a delightful but distracting array of period films! *GASP* What a novel idea! I shall have to look into it further... ;-D
