I've been having a few "You Know You're Obsessed With Sherlock Holmes When..." moments lately. Like when Mum said, "We should get two cats someday", and I immediately began jumping up and down excitedly and asked "Can we name them Holmes and Watson?!"
Or when I, the die-hard Jane Austen fan, was watching Emma, and Emma and Mr. Knightly were doing archery on the lawn and discussing matrimony, and I found myself actually growing bored, and thinking to myself: "Wouldn't this be more fun if they were solving a mystery?"
Clearly, Sherlock Holmes has hijacked my brain. (And yet, I'm okay with it! ;-D)
On a much less amusing note, this Colorado thing is looking worse and worse. Even Mum is seeming more and more skeptical about the scheme, so hopefully I can talk her out of it and we won't have to go. I mean, I want to move, but just not to Colorado. The particular place we'd be moving to is a VERY small rural-ish resort-y middle-of-nowhere town, and I'm just horrified by it. I require a city, thank you very much, and more specifically I have my heart set on Madison, even though we'd never actually be able to move back there. But someplace comparable at least. And I don't even know anything about Colorado. I'd be more prepared to move to Europe than there! At least Europe I know about! In fact, airfare tends to be cheaper to Europe than within the US, oddly enough... and if we're going to be spending gobs on money on plane tickets, I want it to be for my European Grand Tour and NOT to check out some hell-hole in the foothills of god-knows-what freaking mountains where we may or may not be moving! But anyway, I digress...
