Daylight savings time has really screwed me up. It's simply not enough that I barely sleep through the night already (stupid fibromyalgia!), but now I have to have a whole hour shaved off of what little sleep I do get. I hate people who can adjust to the time change so easily. And I wish I were one of them. Despite my very tenuous grip on anything approaching alertness in my increasingly sleep-deprived world, I have however started making a new doll dress. It's a little 1830's dress with gigot sleeves and a wing collar for a child doll, and if it works out it will be the cutest thing ever. :)

Tomorrow is a new episode of Doctor Who. And, believe it or not, I'm very excited. I never planned on even watching the show, much less liking it.
But Mum had to watch it, since she loves Doctor Who, and I was bored and watched it too, and I turned out to be the one who loved it. All I really remember of the old show was the TARDIS and the Daleks, so I guess it was easier for me to like the new one because I was coming to it with a clean slate. I admit, I did pretty much think it would suck beforehand, since I find Christopher Eccleston rather creepy, and all I knew about Billie Piper was that she was that girl who had that one hit song in like 1998 or something. But actually, Billie Piper's Rose is the best part of the show. Christopher Eccleston is still creepy, but his Doctor is considerably easier to take because of the chemisty between the two. I must say though, I really hope we get the next season here in the US, because I think David Tennant would make a smashing Doctor! ;-D

And so, the girl who for so long cursed Doctor Who as that awful show where her mother found the most awful name to name her daughter, is now a fan.
