(no subject)

I love Christmas. But my mother has decided to be a humbug this year. We may or may not even put up a tree this year, because she's mad at me for not letting her put it up before Thanksgiving. Oy. But I'm determined not to let her spoil my holiday cheer, and I think I'll attempt to make the traditional butter spritz cookies myself this year. I am the only one who knows how to use a cookie press, after all!

Am still tired after a mad housecleaning spree last week. No progress was made on the medieval dress at all. I did start a little medieval doll outfit, but halfway through I realized it was too short, that I'd sewn up the front instead of the back, and that I don't have any buttons for it. Hint taken. I need to go back to Victorian dresses. So I did some sketches, and I think I've got some good ideas worked out. Hopefully I'll find time and energy to get some proper sewing done soon.

Bought some adorable Victorian Christmas cards. Now to send them out!
