Dec. 10th, 2002 07:40 pmI bow my head to Kelly and Sherrie'. I acknowledge them as the ones who showed me the light of Harry Potter. My gratitude is boundless and eternal. Let us fellow Gryffindors rejoice. ;-D
It's funny, but I always seem to get Dumbledore on personality quizzes. Who'd have thought? Wonder what the significance of that is?
On the subject of Harry Potter (my favorite subject of all!), I have just finished writing the second part of the Percy fic. It's probably not as good as the first part, but I just started wrting the third part, and judging from what I've got so far, it ought to make up for part two. Oh, and I think this fic is going to be a great deal longer than I expected. I'm kind of pleased by that though, since I'm having fun with it. It's actually easier to write two stories at a time, I've found, when they're different in tone. My 'French story' is really serious and melodramatic, and the Percy fic is frothy and absurd. And that's actually really freeing, because if you feel creative, but you don't feel like writing the one, you just write the other. It's very nice.
And I think now I'm going to write more on my 'French story' and edit the Percy fic before I send it.
And probably watch some GOOD Christmas movies! (Like the Muppet one! THE MUPPETS RULE!)

Date: 2002-12-11 06:33 am (UTC)Dumbledore... Well, just from the short time I've known you Miranda, you seem like a very smart/wise person (like Dumbledore), and you're always pretty calm... Maybe that's it. :)
Yay, more Percy fic! I can't wait to read it. Your writing is so wonderful on it.
And Christmas movies! I LOVE the muppets!!! Have you seen the new Muppet Christmas movie that came out right after Thanksgiving? It only aired as a TV special and you can only buy it off TV (blah), but I taped it like the evil person I am. *giggles* It's really cute and spoofs SO many different movies - including previous Muppet movies, Moulin Rouge, It's a Wonderful Life, and others. :)

And I did see the new Muppet Christmas Movie. I loved it! The Moulin Rouge spoof was great! Hooray for Kermit! (A very strange enchanted frog...;-D)
And you were smart! I forgot to tape it! :-D
