Jan. 10th, 2007 03:42 pmNo longer sick. I've been back to normal for about a week now, so yay! After I was sure it wasn't pneumonia I wasn't too worried about it, but my mum made an appointment for me and and so I had to go see a doctor today even though there's nothing wrong any more, and they did a blood test, which I feel was completely needless, seeing as there's nothing wrong anymore, and now the whole right side of my body just aches. I think the nurse who did it was completley incompetent, since she tore the fingers off her latex gloves before she did it! And I'm like "um, shouldn't you get new ones?" and she replies "I always do it this way." And I'm thinking "WTF?!?!" I was tired so I went along with it, but looking back on it now, I would TOTALLY have refused, since it was an unecessary test, and that's so unsafe to be handling needles and blood and things without gloves. Did she even wash her hands? What if the person she'd drawn blood from before me had had HIV or something? That is SO disturbing. I'm going to call and complain about her. Do people really have that little common sense? Are they all just complete lunatics and idiots?
But the incompetence of the medical profession aside, I finally got the velveteen I wanted for my Burgundian dress! I was going to use the silk, but I think the velveteen will work out better, so yay! And the 1920's doll dress is almost finished. I need to buy a new camera so I can take pictures!
