Nov. 1st, 2002 04:53 pmAlas, they are out of cauldrons! My disappointment is great.
Anyhow, just a short little tidbit today. I have just finished reading "Anne of Avonlea" and started on "Anne of the Island".
I must say that I find both of them more intersting than the first one, because these are very different from the movies, and so I don't know exactly what's going to happen. I don't think there's much fun in a book if you know just whats going to happen. Of course in Montgomery's books that isn't such a problem as in others, because of the beautiful imagery she uses. Even if you know the plot points it doesn't lessen the impact of her description of an afternoon at Green Gables, which I believe I have come to love almost as much as New Moon. ALMOST. ;-D
