TeslaCon pics, part 1

newmoonstarThe theme at TeslaCon was Bucharest, Romania- so lots of eastern European/folk dress/fantasy kind of stuff mixed with the usual Steampunk stuff. I liked the aesthetic a lot. Starting with my last outfit first, I think the outfit I made for Sunday captured the theme the best out all my outfits that weekend, and since it had bloomers instead of a skirt, it was a lot easier to wear!
I also made the jewelry. One bracelet has little nesting doll beads, and the other one has a little box that opens.
I was going for an Art Nouveau/Alphonse Much look with the headdress, and several people told me it reminded them of that, so yay!
(I didn't make any of the embroidered shirts I wore though- I don't have the skill or patience to do that much embroidery, so those were all store bought :p)
