Forsyte saga addiction and writer's block
Apr. 19th, 2004 03:31 pmGood heavens, I am offically a Forsyte saga addict. I actually started watching the 1949 movie version of the first book. (Which, by the by, looks like a bad high school production compared with the new one!)
However, sense prevailed, and I turned it off and went to the library.
Where I proceeded to search for the actual books.
Which I'm going to read.
I hate myself.
It's such trash, and yet I love it. I suppose everyone's entitled to one guilty pleasure though.
And I have to apologize to
papercranes if her birthday card arrived late. I somehow got it into my head that her birthday was the 19th, which it's not, and I didn't realize it was actually the 17th until the night before, and I don't know if I got to a mailbox before the mail went out that day. So sorry Kel! But I didn't forget about you! :-D
I've totally hit a wall with 'the French story' and I now have no idea if I'll ever finish it, because I've made it so darn complicated that even I can't figure it out! Grr.
(I think this is when those Forsyte saga books come in handy. Procrastination is a beautiful thing.)
