Birthday cards and Jane Austen movies
Oct. 8th, 2004 04:52 pmHappily making good progress with my Art Nouveau greeting cards. Luckily I got Mum's b-day card done early, because we had a nice day at the beach on Wednesday, so Mum claimed that day for her birthday festivites and made a cake, and I presented her with the card, which she loved.
A lot of my card making time has been devoured by watching Jane Austen moives, I must admit. I've just been on a Jane Austen kick lately, for no apparent reason. It started off with feeling kind of sick one night and deciding to watch Sense and Sensibilty to entertain myself, and then I watched Persuasion the next day, and now I'm onto Wives and Daughters, which is actually Elizabeth Gaskell, but the same subject matter and feel. And I know I've got Mansfield Park and Emma hiding somewhere among my tapes... so the madness continues...;-D
