1880's doll dress being impossible. If it turns out to look even remotely like a dress I'll be so happy.

I want to learn Latin. Sure it's a dead language, but shouldn't every history geek know Latin? Maybe this is a side effect of listening to excessive amouts of Enigma yesterday. But they remix Gregorian chants for crying out loud! How cool is that?

The inventiveness of some people's stupidity borders on cleverness. Today, in the library I overheard a couple of guys at the video shelves discussing in deadly earnest:

Guy 1: Look, Monty Python's Flying Circus!
Guy 2: That Monty Python guy is great!
Guy 1: But he died this year, you know.
Guy 2: No way!
Guy 1: Yeah, it was a heart attack. I heard all about it.
Guy 2: That's crappy man, how old was he?
Guy 1: Like 64 or something.
Guy 2: Whoa. That's old.

At this point it was all I could do to stop myself from laughing. Where the heck did they get that stuff? I had a mad thought of telling them there was no such person as Monty Python, but then I felt that for them it might be like finding out there was no Easter Bunny, and I decided not to spoil their illusions.
