Jun. 19th, 2006 07:19 pmSo far in the past week, I've seen both a cardinal and a blue-jay in the tree outside my room. If you haven't spent most of your life living in crappy tree-less apartments, you can't possibly imagine how cool this is.
Sewing coming along okay, I started on an 1880's misses' dress instead of the poodle skirt because my mum isn't going to drive down to see Dave the Barbie Guy for a while yet. She has expressed an interest in driving to a Medieval faire that's about an hour away, to my great surprise and chagrin, because I decided not to start on a medieval dress for myself because she said she wouldn't go to any out of town faires! I'd have about a week to whip one up if we went, so now I have no idea what to do!
But I don't care, because the weather is nice and I can just hang out in my room all day and listen to music or read or sew or whatever. Sunshine is my crack. ;-D
