The 1880's doll dress has had it's waistband attached, so now I'm officially finished with it and moving on to the 1805 doll dress. I've cut out the bodice, so hopefully sewing will occur soon, if I'm not distracted by all the shiny DVDs I just got from the library, which include The House of Eliott and the Edward Petherbridge Lord Peter Wimsey series (squee squee squee!). The twenties stylishness of both is just overwhelming me with a desire to do some twenties doll dresses, but all the patterns I have require very thin silky fabrics which are buried in my closet at the moment. Le sigh. Maybe I'll go dig out my old flapper dress and my cloche hat from my vintage hat box...;-D
