Oct. 1st, 2007 08:04 pmHad a terrible headache over the weekend and couldn't go to the Medieval faire. So that sucked, but at least I don't feel so bad about not making that medieval dress after all! ;-D
Just discovered a DVD of Raffles at the library. Am in love. It's like a bad, wrong, twisted version of Sherlock Holmes and it's AWESOME. Victorian gentleman theives. I don't think there's any way I wouldn't have loved it. Of course, I wasn't expecting it to be that great, since most of the BBC stuff from the 70's tends to be a bit slow moving, but this was just too hilarious and lovely and delicious for words. I've got the second DVD on hold and I'm absolutely dying to get it.
I've also got the new Georgia Nicolson book. Speaking of hilarious! I haven't been able to start it yet because I can't read it when my mum's in the room. It always make me laugh so hard and she's always interrupting me demanding to know what's so funny. Shall have to hide out in my bedroom and read it when I get the time. And bring a box of cookies. And life will be perfect. :)
