newmoonstarEeeps! I haven't updated in ages! I've been so busy this summer! House-hunting is hopefully coming to an end, since we finally decided there's no way in heck we can move out of state by the end of this month. We MIGHT still move to Madison, but we don't know if everything will be ready on time. AHHHH!
Every place we looked at was just totally unsuitable; we even saw one or two honest to goodness slums, which we ran out of as fast as fast as we could. But at last we found the most perfect cute little house with a fireplace and a garden and everything one's heart could desire, but we're still wating to hear back from the landlord, and he was supposed to call three days ago. AHHHH!
And the other house we found is a rather dilapidated Victorian, but it could be nice with some work. The only problem is that we have to say if we want it by tomorrow, and our first choice hasn't called us back yet! AHHHH and AHHHHH!
So things are still hectic even though Mum's friend Laura Lee finally moved out today. I'm happy we're done with all the packing and sorting and having rummage sales, but good lord am I ever going to miss her DVD player!
I suppose I'll have to go back to reading books now... if I even remember how!;-D
