Jun. 30th, 2006 05:47 pmUgh it's so hot. This is exactly the sort of time when you want to go somewhere and do something, but tragically, even though I now live within an easily reachable distance of both the Bristol Renaissance faire and Summerfest (Keane was there yesterday and I missed it! GRRR!), I'm cursed with having a mum who believes that leaving the house is a terrible, unreasonable demand on her. Therefore, in order to take my mind off the horrible unfairness of having to miss a huge Ren faire AND Keane, I'm going to finally go and take pictures all around the city like I always wanted to. Ten years we lived in Green Bay, and I never got pictures of the Victorian houses near my old school, or Triangle Hill, or Baird's Creek, which looks exactly like the forests in Ever After and are the only things I'd WANT to remember about that hell-hole. So I'm not going to miss the opportunity to do that here.
The 1880's doll dress coming along better than expected. Keep your fingers crossed!
I love The Light in the Piazza. Maybe it's because it's only the second musical I've actually seen on stage, if you can even count seeing it on PBS on Live From Lincoln Center, but I'm counting it anyway. It's so beautiful.
