Been having problems naming a character in a story and it's driving me crazy. I've been preoccupied with it for days. I really shouldn't be worrying about it, since it's not even the story I'm currently writing. But I always get ahead of myself like that. It's a very bad habit. Probably why I haven't finished anything in ages. Or maybe it's because whenever I have free time I spend it on lj...
On anime: When it comes to subbed or dubbed, I'm not really sure. I generally don't like dubbing, but subtitles can be pesky. I suppose I lean toward subtitles though. Somehow some of the original flavor of films always seems lost with dubbing.
Some right-wing Christian girl who had me listed as a friend took me off after the entry where I mentioned tarot cards. I'm wondering if this is more than coincidence. Sometimes it really scares me to realize how closeminded some people can be. If everyone in the world had just been read "Free To Be You and Me" as a child, and been exposed to different cultures and different ways of thinking, I bet we wouldn't have all the problems we do.
But I don't even want to think about all that's going on in the world right now. That's enough to give any normal person a headache. I already have enough of those what with the bathroom sink being out of order, and so we have to use the kitchen sink for everything until the maintenance guy comes. Oy. And I have to make valentines for people before Valentine's Day. Oy. And I have to write some more on the French story AND the Percy fic pretty soon. Double oy. And I've got to send Sherrie' a birthday card. It's the 10th, right? I've got the most gorgeous birthday cards to send to people. Don't worry, they're store bought. I wouldn't inflict any of my handmade Victorian cards on anybody but my mum unless I was in a real pinch. But the cards I bought are all historical themed and SO pretty. ;-D
