Aug. 27th, 2007 09:15 pmPest control finally came and captured the bat after a week. Oy. If they had come several days ago when we called them, I might not have to clean bat poo off the hallway windowsill. Arg. At least I can sleep in my bedroom again. Finally!
But the worst thing is that I was really going to lay out my medieval dress pattern and cut it out before all this bat business started. Now I'm so tired I don't know. But I still want to, and it would be nice to have a new dress made... we'll see!
Been seriously thinking about finishing my Percy fic. I hate myself for this, because I should be working on my own stories and not wasting time on fanfic. That's why I gave up fanfic in the first place! (And because most of it is mind-numbingly stupid.) But I did just finish the last Harry Potter book, so if I'm ever going to finish "Percy's Holiday", it'll have to be now, since I never re-read books, and I'll never have another opportunity to re-absorb the Percyness.
Oh heck, maybe I'll go watch more Campion instead. Yes, that seems a good plan. Procrastination is, after all, a girl's best friend. And I need something to watch while waiting for the new Doctor Who episode! It strikes me as particularly cruel to skip a week when it's a two-parter. And even more so since it's the first episode to be any good this season. *sniff*
(God help me, I've become a Doctor Who addict!)
