Well, just to get this out of the way: the war is so incredibly frightening in so many aspects, and I obviously have many stong opinions on it, but I'm just going to say right now that I am not going to go into them in my livejournal. It's not because I'm uninformed, or that I don't care, but I just don't like to mix friends and politics, because it usually opens up a whole can of worms that I don't want to deal with at this point. I know a lot of my friends share this view and understand that.

Anyhoo, I'm very sick of being serious, and I just have to go into how incredibly happy I still am because of the Oscars on Sunday, or as I call it "Oscar Day"; because Adrien Brody won Best Actor!!!! EEEEEEE!!! He's my favorite actor, and I wanted him to win SO badly, and he DID! I was SO nervous about it. Literally, ever since the nominations I would stop every now and then, cross my fingers and say, "Please let Adrien Brody win Best Actor!" Very pathetic, I know, but it worked. ;-D

Although this year was the first time at the Oscars that I was ever wrong about any of the major categories. I didn't expect Nicole Kidman or Roman Polanski to win. I'm losing my touch! Ack! But heck, ADRIEN BRODY WON BEST ACTOR so who cares about anything else, really? ;-D

Good for you, Miranda. :) I've gotten into quite a few arguments lately over war, politics and friends, and it's not been pretty. *winces* You have a great attitude, methinks. *hugs*

BTW, thank you for your cards! I *promise* to send you one for Easter. I've been such a slacker on those, and I feel terrible! *winces*
