Well, seeing as the past few weeks have been filled with holidays and snow storms, life certainly has been hectic of late! But good; Christmas was filled with lots of lovely presents, which are, after all, what the holidays are about! *teehee* (Let's just say my doll collection is getting much too large, even by my standards.) But who could resist a shiny new Silkstone Tout de Suite Barbie doll? Not me! Although I think the books almost slightly trump the dolls this year: My Likeness Taken: The Daguerrian Portrait in America by Joan Severa; Medieval Dress and Fashion by Margaret Scott; and, most gorgeously drool-worthy of all, Dangerous Liasons: Fashion and Furniture in the Eighteenth Century by Harold Koda and Andrew Bolton. Truly a hoard to set any historical costumer's heart aflutter!
Watched several movies and listened to several cast albums as well, but more on those later, when I have more time!
