Spring and other lovely things!

newmoonstarFirst off I must state that Evgeny Plushenko's exhibition programs never fail to frighten me. That is all.
But on more relevant note, I am SO happy today, because the weather here is BEAUTIFUL. The sun is shining, and it's so warm! Not really hot, but just warm enough that you can go out with jeans and a t-shirt and be fine. And there's a light breeze so it's REALLY pleasant. Of course there are still patches of snow on the ground, which is never a good thing in my opinion, but they're melting! Hurrah! Spring is FINALLY upon us! Nothing excites me like the changes of the seasons. It's the poetic side of me coming out. Each season has it's own unique scent, and the first whiff of it is always so heavenly. All the old memories associated with it come back. You don't just REMEMBER them, you FEEL them. The only proven method of time travel I've found so far. ;-D
Yes, I'm completely enamored with life today! I just had to come and write on LJ to keep myself from writing bad poetry about spring. Every single person in the world has written at least one bad poem about spring, and I wrote mine long ago, so because I'm not a poet, the world does not need any more from me! ;-D
Finished reading "The Horse and His Boy". I just love The Chronicles of Narnia! That also reminds me of when I little and used to read those. Isn't it the absolute best thing when you read a book and love it, and then you don't read it for so long that you forget what happens in it, and then the next time you read it, you get to discover it all over again?
Oh shoot, I just remembered that I have to send Kelly a birthday card! Oy! It's the 17th, right Kel? Same as the Gene doll? I'll have to pick one out tonight. I never remember to send birthday cards on time so don't hate me if it's late! But I really will try to send it early!
Everyone please forgive my extra flowery entry today. But at least it's better than my worrying ones, like the last one. Talking to Abby always makes me insecure. She's so perfect, but she worries about everything all the time, so next to her I end up feeling like an idiot, and I catch the worrying bug. But she's been my best friend for ages, and she's brilliant and fun when you get her to stop worrying for a moment, so I guess it's worth it! Ah, the joys of RL friends! ;-D
