Feb. 1st, 2005 06:19 pmI. Am. So. Tired.
I have not been sleeping at all lately. I don't know if it's due to the pain from the fibromyalgia, or the absurd amounts of medication I've been taking for it, but it's driving me crazy. Please forgive me if all my posts are rambling and nonsensical.
So anyway, I've actually been doing some writing! Hurrah! Not much, grant you; two hours yielded about two pages, but still, I give myself an A for effort.
I'm much amused lately by the fact that PBS is airing re-runs of Black Adder. God love it. It's a history geek's delight, and Mum is actually willing to watch it too because she says it gives her ideas for her Renaissance faire costumes (i.e. she doesn't bother me about it). Sadly enough, it does have much more accurate Medieval costumes than just about any movie I've seen.
I've also started watching Two Thousand Acres of Sky. In the abscence of Monarch of the Glen I've been yearning for a quirky Scottish dramady with nice scenery.

Date: 2005-02-04 12:24 am (UTC)I think Kenny is my favorite character. His interactions with Abby and the kids are so sweet. And the windswept landscape and Scottish accents all around don't hurt either!
I guess it's up to individual PBS stations what shows they air; too bad yours isn't showing Black Adder! But if you've got a DVD player, you needn't worry, because the whole series is on DVD.
