I. Am. So. Tired.

I have not been sleeping at all lately. I don't know if it's due to the pain from the fibromyalgia, or the absurd amounts of medication I've been taking for it, but it's driving me crazy. Please forgive me if all my posts are rambling and nonsensical.

So anyway, I've actually been doing some writing! Hurrah! Not much, grant you; two hours yielded about two pages, but still, I give myself an A for effort.

I'm much amused lately by the fact that PBS is airing re-runs of Black Adder. God love it. It's a history geek's delight, and Mum is actually willing to watch it too because she says it gives her ideas for her Renaissance faire costumes (i.e. she doesn't bother me about it). Sadly enough, it does have much more accurate Medieval costumes than just about any movie I've seen.

I've also started watching Two Thousand Acres of Sky. In the abscence of Monarch of the Glen I've been yearning for a quirky Scottish dramady with nice scenery.

Also, re: not sleeping: I wish I could rec something for you. I take Coffea Cruda, but that's for excessive mental hyperactivity, so not of much help to you. :(

Yeah, Two Thousand Acres of Sky has been really good so far. I've only seen a couple of episodes (of course the US figure skating championships HAD to air the same night it's on!) but it seems very sweet and has a lot of the same feel as Monarch.
